| Lingshou Second Mining Plant (LSMP) established in 1985, mainly
produces rudimentary mica powder. To meet the need of our Australian
customer, we built a new plant supplying super-fine mica powder with
a yearly production capacity of 3000 ton. 1994 saw a huge demand of super-fine 1250M mica powder, and majority depends on imports. To catch the opportunity, we invited senior mining engineers to upgrade our technology. In 1995, our new product was put to the market, as our customers responded it could compete with the imports in quality while the price was much lower. In cooperation with a rubber product Institution, we developed a new filling material for rubber and plastic products in 1999, which was improved in its intensity, heat endurance quality, coupling quality and weatherability, and at same time the cost was reduced.
